The Wearable Milestone: Your First Seamless Sweater
Join this workshop series designed for knitters who are ready to create their first sweater. Whether you just learned to knit, or have been knitting for years, this class is for you. As a group we will work through all the steps of knitting a raglan sweater. '
This class is for adults ages 18+. We find kids do better in a one-on-one learning environment where they can have the focus and attention needed to guide them through a new skill. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Description: In this class, you'll learn to make your first sweater! You’ll get the support you need to work through a raglan sweater pattern.
Prerequisites: basic knitting skills (casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, binding off)
Techniques you will learn: reading a pattern, raglan style increases, basic sweater construction
What's Included:
- Printed copy of the pattern
- 10% discount on supplies in store*
- Worsted weight yarn, kits will be available in the shop (color and size options available)
- Size 4.5mm - 5.5 mm (US size 7-9 ) circular knitting needles, lengths for both the body and small circumference
- Darning needle
- scissors
- Stitch markers
- Measuring Tape (essential!)
- Waste Yarn, or cords for holding sleeve stitches
