Project Troubleshooting & Fix-It Confidence Workshop

What We Will Practice:
We will start with hands-on exercises, practicing the key skills on a provided swatch, then move to analyzing and applying those fixes to your own project.
Focus Area 1: Unraveling & Recovery
-
Tinking/Frogging: Learning how to undo work one stitch at a time (tinking) or multiple rows at once (frogging) safely.
-
The Lifeline: Placing a safety line to secure your stitches before fixing a major error.
Focus Area 2: Common Fixes (Knit & Crochet)
-
Knitters: Picking up a dropped stitch cleanly (even rows down), correcting unwanted increases/decreases, and handling splits or twisted stitches.
-
Crocheters: Identifying where stitches were accidentally added or missed at the edges, and learning how to carefully correct misplaced stitches in rows or rounds.
Your Goal: Confidence to Carry On
You will leave this class with a clear understanding of the mistake in your troubled project and the knowledge of how to fix it yourself.
Please bring your current troubled project, but be prepared to spend the majority of the class practicing on a new swatch.
