Master Your First Garment: A 4-Week Guided Workshop

Across this four-week hands-on workshop, you will gain the skills and confidence needed to knit a seamless, top-down raglan sweater from start to finish.
Throughout the course, you’ll master essential garment-making techniques, including:

Sizing & Gauge: How to knit a swatch, measure gauge, and pick the right size for a tailored fit.

Garment Construction: Understanding top-down raglan sweater architecture, yoke shaping, and working in the round.

Key Milestones: Dividing sleeves from the body, casting on underarm stitches, and working sleeve decreases down to neat cuffs.

Professional Finishing: Seamlessly closing underarm gaps, weaving in ends securely, and wet-blocking your finished garment to bring the stitches to life.
By the end of class, you’ll walk away with a custom-fit wearable sweater and the foundation to tackle future garment projects on your own.

| Skill Details: | Prerequisites: Comfortable with casting on, binding off, and working basic knit and purl stitches. Experience knitting in the round is helpful, but not required! Project will be worked with fingering yarn. |
