Let us jump right in with what is happening at Heart2Heart! 

 We have so much to tell you about....but first I want to welcome all of our newest subscribers to the newsletter and to the shop!  We love having you as a part of our fiber community!

In this newsletter you will find info about classes, kits, clubs, our anniversary sale, new notions, and even some September events!

National Park Hat Kits

Hat kits are in stock!
Kits include all the yarn you need to make one hat, and the faux leather tag.

The pattern can be found in Nancy's Book: "Knitting the National Parks" and it's back in stock!

Every Tuesday a new kit comes out, so watch for the next one!

Crochet 101 Class

August 5th & 12th
11 AM - 12:30 PM

2 - 90 minutes sessions

$90.00 with materials included in class price
(hook, yarn & pattern)

Beginner crochet classes are the perfect way to learn how to crochet. Crochet is a quick and easy hobby, with professional looking results. In just a few hours you can master the skills to create lovable crocheted projects that last a lifetime. In our beginner crochet class, we’ll start at the beginning, talking about how to select different yarns, yarn weights and their different uses, which crocheting hooks to use and then stitch up a project together. This beginner crochet class is perfect for a total newbie or as a refresher if it’s been a while since you had your hands on your hooks. We can tailor the crochet session to meet your skill level so that you leave the beginner workshop excited about what you’ve learned.

Crochet Skills You Will Learn:

  • Different crocheting tools and their uses
  • How to chain or begin your crochet project, Single Crochet, Double Crochet and Finishing Off (or ending a project)
  • How to Work in Rows
  • How to keep your edges straight
  • Different properties of yarn and the uses for various weights
  • Problem-solving for common crochet mistakes and challenges

Crochet 101 Prerequisite: None
Make up classes are not available, if you miss a session, the instructor will do her best to get you back on track. 


Sock Knitting 101 Class

August 5, 12, & 26th

1 PM - 3 PM

$85.00 

This is a 3 Week Class; each class will be 2 hours

You need to know how to knit and purl to take this class. 

This is an in person sock class for anyone who has never knitted socks before. Over 3-90 minute sessions you will learn how to make cuff down socks. You will learn all aspects of cuff down socks, heel stitch, short rows to turn a heel, picking up stitches and kitchener stitch to close your toe at the end.

If you are buying materials from the store, please ensure to purchase before the class starts on Saturday, April 8th.

Materials required (not included):

  • 100g of fingering weight yarn which includes nylon/ acrylic/ silk for strength. We carry a large supply of "sock" yarns in store for you to choose from.
  • 2.75mm/ US size 2 circular needle, 32" cord for instruction on Magic Loop.
  • Darning needle.

Colorwork Knit Along

AINE, by Isabella Kaemer

September 7th-  October 31st

Finally, the dates have arrived! We will have a colorwork knit along in Septermber. 
We have an easy pattern chosen, with a bit of colorwork in the yoke. Beginner to advanced, this is a fun sweater to do! 

This is a sport/dk weight knit. We will have coordinating colors to choose from, hand dyed just for this project!
Sizes range from 1 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) and uses a size 4 & 5 US needle.

Stop in and get signed up by the end of August.
The colors will be in the house by August 15 to choose from. 

We will get started in September, after Labor Day and run the knit a long through October. Watch for more information.

A night of stitching and pitching!

Stitch N’ Pitch is coming back to T-Mobile Park on September 12! Hang out with fellow knitting enthusiasts, enjoy a beautiful summer night at the ballpark and head home with a limited-edition Mariners-themed T-shirt!

FAQ's:
Is there a pattern I will receive each month with the yarn?
There will not be a dedicated pattern sent out each month.  Everyone loves to knit socks differently, and we wouldn't want to waste your money on something you may or may not use.  However, we have plenty of suggestions we can offer at any time.

How can I manage or cancel my subscription?
This is a 6 month  subscription. This club DOES NOT auto renew. If ever you need to change anything, please contact us and we will be happy to help. 

Can I have my full skein cranked into a tube before shipping or pickup?
YES! Just let us know in the NOTES section at checkout and we will take care of that for you!  There a $10.00 fee for cranking, which will be bill separately.
