To start our June newlsetter, I would like to say "THANK YOU" to all the Yarn Crawlers who came out to visit Heart2Heart during the PNW Yarn Crawl and the LYS Yarn Tour. Your visits make our shop what it is! We love talking to each and every person who visits our little shop!
As June approaches, faster than I can fathom, there is a lot of things to think about for the upcoming summer.
The shop will be hosting classes, knitting in public, having sit n stitches, and much more!
Whatever you are doing this summer, we hope you stay safe and have fun. Don't forget your stitching! Road trips are the best!

Meet Jodi Pavey
Jodi is our newest addition to Heart2Heart!
She will begin teaching classes starting in July 2024.
You may have to take a class just to meet her!

Here is a little bit about Jodi and what brings her joy.
Hey there, I’m Jodi—a woman totally captivated with yarn, knitting, and crochet. It all started with my grandmother when I was just 11 years old. Her gentle guidance introduced me to the magic of crafting with fibers, and I've been hooked ever since.
Teaching is where my heart truly sings. Witnessing the joy on someone's face as they conquer their first, second, or even fifth project is a feeling like no other. Over two decades of sharing my passion, I've discovered that it's not just about the stitches; it's about the connection and community that knitting fosters. Along the way, I've learned invaluable lessons in patience, the beauty of experimentation, and, of course, the art of "frogging."
Now, nestled in the lush beauty of the Pacific Northwest, my knitting needles are never far from reach. Here, where the weather calls for cozy layers and knitwear reigns supreme, I find endless inspiration for both function and fashion. Join me on this fiber-filled journey—I can't wait to share the endless wonders of knitting with you.

It's never to late to learn a new hobby.
Knitting 101: In this series of 2 classes you will learn the anatomy of a stitch and how to recognize Knits and Purls, while making a beanie.
Learn to dye yarn: Learn how to take a bare skein of yarn and turn in into a fun color you will love to knit or crochet with! All materials needed will be included. Cathei from Buxom Cat Knits will lead this journey!
Make a pair of socks from a tube: Learn the afterthought heel method, adding a toe and ribbed cuff and your finished with a pair of socks in no time! If you sign up for this class, you will need to bring in a DK weight yarn at least one week in advance to have it cranked into the tube you will be working with.
OOPS Class: Learn how to fix your mistakes while knitting. The instructor will walk you through how to fix the 10 most common mistakes made by knitters.
