232 Children's Tunic

A pullover tunic for children, uses worsted weight yarn at 18 sts to 4 inches. Sizes 2-4, 6-8, and 10-12.

Same style as the popular Baby Tunic,with hood and side slits. Most moms say that if you make it a size larger than they usually wear, they can wear it for years.

Sizes- 2-4, 6-8, 10-12.
Finished measurements-
Chest- 28, 30, 32 ins.
Length- 17, 19, 22 ins.

Materials- worsted weight yarn:
approx. 479; 552; 723 yds.
24 inch circular needles sizes 8 and 6; double point needles sizes 8 and 6 or sizes required to get the gauge.
Scrap yarn, stitch markers, ¾ to 1 inch button (1).

Gauge- using the larger size needles in circular stockinette st, 18 sts equal 4 inches.
